My name is Jason.
I currently serve in the Media Manager position at Zisser Group in San Diego.
I am a young entrepreneur watching my first (Angel Investor backed) web based startup go down in flames. (See the full story here.)
I have been working in the world of Web Design, Social Media, Brand Management, and Marketing in some form or another since 2001.
This blog is a reflection of, a collection of, and an attempt at taming what my closest friends and mentors refer to as the "fireball of creative energy" in my mind.
In my personal life, I'm a believer in life-long learning, a husband, a writer, a surfer (both on the internet and in the pacific), and a bit of a film buff.
I am interested in changing the status quo.
I want to leave a profound and positive impact on the planet.
I am determined to play my part in moving the human race forward.
I won't stop until I do.

By day I work for a company called Zisser Group. I am responsible for all media creation, web design ( see: http://mastersmethodtraining.com ) social media management, and serve as community manager for hundreds of customs brokers, lawyers, and classification specialists.
I am currently involved in several entrepreneurial ventures:

The think (here) Blog- This is a blog (this blog to be exact) that focuses on blogs, businesses, entrepreneurs, and products who challenge the status quo, go above and beyond the call of duty, and change the way the game is played.
Th(h)B challenges readers to question standard business practices, to think with a beginners mind, and to turn ideas into action.
I worked with @timbursch to build a network of action oriented entrepreneurs. Any one can talk the talk, but few can walk the walk. Talks will resume early 2010. We recommend following along via twubs here.
Tt(h)B and @markkley have teamed up for a web show designed to teach small business owners how to utilize the web and social media to increase business and improve overall customer experience. The project (initially) will focus on a local business in a different industry each week as a case study. We will analyze current strategies, competitor strategies, and discuss new strategies.

Launched January 2010, READ (here) is an entrepreneur centered book club led by Mouyyad Abdulhadi and I. The group will dive into, showcase, and discuss one book essential to successful entrepreneurs per month.
To ignite a roundtable style discussion "weekly questions" will be posted to discuss the ideas presented in greater detail. As the group grows READ (here) will expand to include give-aways, contests, and exclusive author interviews.
